How to Request a Refund
At Traderfyles, we strive to ensure that every user has a seamless and satisfactory experience with our app. If you encounter any issues or find that you require a refund, we're here to help. Requesting a refund is straightforward and can be done in a few simple steps.
Steps to Request a Refund:
- Log into the Software: We have a chat feature located in the bottom right of the software. Chat with us 🙂.
- Use the Chat Beacon in Help Center: You can easily get in touch with us through the chat beacon located at the bottom right of the screen within our Help Center (which is where you are now as you are reading this 🙂).
- Send Us an Email: Alternatively, if you prefer emailing us directly, reach out at hello@traderfyles.com with your refund request and account details.
Understanding Our Refund Policies:
Our refund policies are designed to be fair and transparent. Here’s what you need to know:
Non-Refundable Cases
- Remaining credits after generating a tax report are non-refundable.
- Purchases of individual credit lots are non-refundable.
Refundable Cases
- Paid tiers are fully refundable if no credits have been used to create a tax report.
Refund Examples
Example 1: John creates an account at TraderFyles and purchases the Essential tier. He doesn't use any credits. He decides to request a refund. John chats with us and receives a refund immediately since he did not use any credits from the tier that was purchased.
Example 2: John creates an account at TraderFyles and purchases the Essential tier. He creates a new 1099-B Match tax report, uploads files, and generates the report. John's account uses 1,000 credits. At this point, John's is no longer eligible for a refund because he used credits to generate a tax report. The reason for this is because after a tax report is created, the tax report will remain in the software for the user to perform any necessary action to generate tax documents. We only charge for the generation of tax reports. Tax documents generated from a tax report are always free.
