How To Export Trade History From Interactive Brokers
Interactive Brokers integration is currently in progess and will be released by the end of February 2024. To upload your transaction history from IB, please follow the steps below and then send your CSV to our Integrations team at integrations@traderfyles.com to be formatted at no additional charge to our TraderFyles format that can be uploaded into your tax report.
Login to your Interactive Brokers Portal
In the main menu, click on “Performance and Statements’’.
Click on "Flex Queries” under the Report section.
Click on the plus icon next to the Trade Confirmation Flex Query title.
Enter the name 'Traderfyles' next to Query Name.
Select "Trade Confirmation" under Sections.
Click Executions and ensure ''Select All'', is clicked on this Popup window.
Scroll down and Hit ‘’SAVE''.
Under General Configurations: By default you should see these configurations.
- Date Format: Select "yyyyMMdd"
- Time Format: Select "HHmmss"
- Date/Time Separator: Select "semi-colon"
Click on "Continue".
A new window will show up for you to review the query, Click "Create".
A new window will show up confirming you have created your query, Click "Ok".
Interactive Broker will take you back to the Flex Queries.
Click the blue arrow icon pointing to the right next to the Flex Query you just built called 'Traderfyles'. (titled RUN)
Select the date range of trades you would like to import (example: Custom Date Range, then Jan 1-Dec 31, 2023), then select CSV for the file format, and hit RUN.
A CSV file will be downloaded to your computer and you can upload that into Traderfyles.
